NSAA activities are the other half of education. The 24 NSAA sanctioned sports and five activities would not be possible without the leadership and support of coaches across our NSAA member schools. The NSAA is seeking nominations for Champions for Coaches — a program designed to honor active coaches who go above and beyond for kids and the community. Students, administrators, parents/guardians, and community members are encouraged to nominate such coaches. Nominations will be accepted through Monday, January 27, 2025, and will be reviewed by an NSAA selection committee. One individual in each NSAA sanctioned activity will be honored at a reception on Friday, March 14, 2025, during the 6:00 PM Class A Boys State Basketball semifinal game at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. The Champions for Coaches will also be recognized at halftime of the game. Chambers FFA traveled to West Holt to compete in District Leadership Development Events. All members brought home a purple or blue ribbon. Rose was the District Champion in Junior Public Speaking.

From Cantwell, AK to Warm Springs, GA, students have written letters to towns/cities of their choosing to learn more about communities across the nation. Students are now anxiously awaiting speedy responses.

The first graders wrote a book called "Animals" in November, and their published copies just arrived. This consisted of them researching, writing, and illustrating three pages each about three different animals of their choice.

If your son or daughter is missing their sweatshirt or jacket, have them stop by the office and look through the lost and found items.
