Some of her hobbies are fishing, watching scary movies, and hanging out with her friends. Her summer job includes working for her dad, Mike. She does a wide variety of activities such as painting and fixing fence, cutting trees, anything cattle related, and working in the hay field.
Taylor identified Mr. H as her favorite staff member as she stated, “He has taught me so much over the years I have had him, and he always can make the class period fun! We always get our projects done while having a good time at the same time. You’re welcome for all that gum I give you because you and me both know what it’s like if you don’t 😊. Going to miss all of our inside jokes and all the laughs we have had together. Andy and I sure are going to miss giving you a lot of grief and being the Koenig duo! I can say you definitely have had an impact in my life, and you will always be someone I look up to! Thank you for all the memories and for everything you have done for me.” Asked to describe her favorite memories from her time at Chambers, Taylor identified the following:
“1. Accidently letting the bullfrog go in 1st grade and it hopped around the room.
2. Freshman Teen Living Class was the bomb. We had eggs as our babies!
3. In 7th Grade, we thought it would be funny to have cologne wars.
4. 8th Grade, I tripped over a hurdle in front of the whole school at PE Fun Day.
5. Andy’s countless stories.
6. Freshman State Volleyball!
7. Taking Denmark and Vicy home and learning about their different countries.
8. 2018 Norfolk Classic when Ms. Harrison and Derek ripped the door handle off of the van.
9. Many jam out sessions in shop with Mr. H! So glad I learned every lyric to every Kip Moore song from Mr. H and Andy J
10. Countless laughs and memories made over the years.”
After graduating from Chambers, Taylor plans on attending Northeast Community College in Norfolk and studying Animal Science with the goal of one day becoming a veterinarian. In addition to her coursework, Taylor is going to play basketball at Northeast Community College as well. Taylor’s advice to underclassmen is, “Always take every opportunity given because you may not ever get the chance to do it again. Enjoy and be grateful for all of your time in high school and make many memories because it will go fast!”
Best wishes Taylor and good luck from all of us at Chambers Public Schools!
We are proud of you!
