Andrew Joseph Koenig
Senior Salute
May 4, 2020
Andrew Joseph Koenig, son of John and Brenda Koenig, has attended Chambers Public Schools for his K-12 education. Andrew has two brothers (Levi and Ryan) and a sister (Kirsten, currently an 8th grader at Chambers) for his siblings.
Andrew participated in FFA, FCCLA, One Act, and Rodeo during his high school career at Chambers.
Outside of school, Andrew enjoys rodeoing, hunting, and ranching.
Andrew identified Mr. Hubenka as his favorite staff member as he stated, “We spend the most time together during school. I like to have his take on my projects I’ve done or am working on.” Asked to describe his favorite memories from his time at Chambers, Andrew said, “My favorite memory was back in eighth grade during the lip sync contest during homecoming games. Seeing Josh run out of the gym embarrassed was pretty darn funny.”
After graduating from Chambers, Andrew plans on attending North Central Kansas Tech in Beloit, Kansas to get a degree in Welding. Andrew’s advice to underclassmen is, “Don’t follow in everybody else’s footsteps. Make your own.”
Best wishes Andrew and good luck from all of us at Chambers Public Schools!
We are proud of you!
